Stone cladding fireplace
Stone cladding a fireplace is a quick and easy way to achieve a chimney breast or feature wall around a wood burning stove or Mutil-fuel heaters as well as a conventional open fire place.
With an assortment of different stones to choose from you can virtually produce any fireplace surround design you please. Eazyclad stone cladding is available in both Natural and reconstituted stone slips or panel systems (very much like large tiles ). With only a basic range of tools and some DIY skills you will be surprised what you can build yourself. Stacking stone is one of the easier Natural Veneer claddings to use as they come in the form of a tile 600mm long x 150mm in height with a thickness of between 10-18mm that interlock into each by way of the Z shape cut into the stone. The pictures below show two fireplaces build with the cladding stone one with a wood burner against a designer feature wall and the other with a inset muti-fuel stove with a fire surround .
