Natural stone cladding or man made which is best

What is best Real stone or Manufactured cast stone cladding 

We are often asked what is the difference between natural stone cladding and manufactured veneers. There is no true answer but generally real random stone cut to a 20mm or 30mm  thickness will cost a lot more money in most cases this will be 2 or 3 times the cost of cast stone. This is because it is very time consuming and costly to cut random walling into a veneer. Whilst manmade reconstituted stone is generally made in moulds which can be used again and again and many companies who produce it will have developed systems that they can turn around a set around in a 24 hour period. we have a range of real  and cast  products that are suitable for covering walls internally or externally and are non combustable so are great for the self builder who wants to create a fireplace for a log burner.
So i suppose the questions comes down to three major points 
1.   Cost 
2.  Appeance 
3. Time scale
