We are bringing a new fire safety glazing tapes to our expanding range of specialised  building products we are pleased to announce that we now have a range of passive fire prevention products including tapes,  putties and even silicones that are used around joints to stop the spread of fire and smoke and hot gasses. These are what is known as Intumescent products which means that when heated expand and can withstand temperatures up and above 1200 degrees centigrade. Many new  building regulations will insist on the use of products that are passive to normal day use and come into their own in the unfortunate intance  that a fire may break out, as they are designed to stop the spread of flames and dangerous smoke.

The glazing tape which will expand when there is a fire is available in a large variety of sizes both in width and thickness and are sold in lengths of 10 metre  you can find the standard stocked range here but we are able to supply many other sizes at very short notice.
