How do I cut Thin Brick slips

3 simple steps for cutting Brick slips to size  

It is really easy to cut or thinbrick slips to whatever size you may require. They are only 16mm in thickness against a conventional brick which is generally 65mm thick. 
you can cut them the 3 following ways , the easiest starting first. 

1. Using a Electric tile saw  - If you will need to quite a lot of the slips then it is worth spending on a tile saw you only need a small bladed one due to the tickles of the brick. A wet or dry saw is suitable
2. Use an Angle Grinder  - most people who carry out home improvements on a regular basis will own a small angle grinder for this method you will need to ensure that you have a diamond tipped blade attached as this will help achieve a better cut.
3. Use a hand tile saw  These saws are still available from Many DiY stores including our own tool shop. If you are required to cut a lot of slips and you don't own either a electric tile saw or Angle grinder this is going to be the cheapest option. 

All three of the above brick slip cutting tools will accomplish the same effect, but will take various amounts of effort to get the project finished.
