Custom made slate hearth stones
Eazyclad have been producing custom made slate hearths for a good few years and offer a bespoke cutting service for your own individual fireplace. We offer many different shapes and sizes as well as edge finishes. One of our most popular shapes we cut is a Single T Piece which means that when you set your hearthstone in place it has no join from inside the chimney breast to the front of the fire as the picture below shows
All our slate has a natural riven surface which is very smooth and is available in either 20mm or 30mm in thickness and e can cut sizes up to 1.5 metres long by 1.2 metres in depth. Also available are different edge finishes including 2mm pencil edge, 5mm bevel and 1/2 bullnose as well as the popular sawn edge
