What is a fireplace chamber insert panel

We are always asked what is a fireplace chamber insert panel is they are used to line the linside of chimney breast where your wood burner , multi fuel stove is to fit some people call it the inglenook as well. The main feature and sole purpose  of a chamber insert is really  to tidy up the inside of the fire place so it is appealing to the eye.
They come in many different  sizes  and materials we specialise in Split face cladding panels which give a very modern look and are made generally from natural stone fixed onto a cement board. The other type we do is a Brick slip  one which is very popular in households arcross the UK and as we make our own slips we can do many various types.

Some people do not buy the full chamber on the board but instead just attached the cladding  you are using or  bricks direct onto the 3 internal walls of the hearth area.

What does a brick fireplace chamber look like ?

These brick fireplace chamber insert panels come in 3 sections  the back section normally the largest  are attached to rear of the fire pit and the 2 side panels as it suggest go wither side of the fireplace opening, They are very easy to cut with a 4 inch angle grinder and really do finish off any room where a new fire is being installed.

We often find that people worry about the hearth and the log burner  or stove they are having installed but do forget about one of the major factors the surrounding area inside  the Chamber .place.

What is a split face fireplace chamber

Split face also known as rock panel, 3 d stone and stacked stone and  is a term that is used to describe the material used in a fire place chamber  generally they are made of natural Slate or quartz material that have been bonded together to form a tile the ones we use are a Z shape which gives a seamless joint and are easy to cut with a 4inch angle iron.

Split face are probably one of our best selling linings and the multi rustic slate one is the best seller as it looks great when used in any colour scheme room
