Natural Stone veneers are generally known as stone cladding. natural Stone cladding is real stone cut from rock that has been worked into a number of different finishes it can be split from a large block to produce a 2mm veneer and then attached to a fibre backing,  cut to a specific thickness so that a architect can work on the sub-staight of the building or used in panel systems which are either small bits of stone or slate glued together or set into a cement backing. They are all quite easy to use by anyone with a basic knowledge of DIY around the home Very much like tiling.
