Slate slab for fireplace hearth

Using slate for  hearth stones on a fireplace is very popular due to its  appearance when played underneath a log burner. Our Brazilian slate is the ideal option due to it being very very smooth on the surface and calibrated  to 10mm 20mm 30mm thick  (all same thickness throughout the slab).
   We are also able to cut the slate to your own designer shape or just have it manufactured  to your own specific sizes in length and width and offer a finished edge of either straight sawn, 5 mm bevel or half bullnose.
