Coping stones made from premium Natural slate are on their way to a customer in Carlisle in Cumbria. The particular ones he was after were for covering the top of a fish pond and wanted them with clean sawn edges and a flat surface which the Brazilian black slate is ideal due to having a very smooth naturally riven surface . We offer a bespoke cutting service for our slate products and they can be cut up to 1500mm in length.  

We are also able to finish them off with a variety of edges such as 1/2 bull nose or 5 mm chamfer and can  also offer drip grooves to help protect the wall from weather damage such as rain.

Slate coping and pier caps have been ordered by a customer in Stourbridge, Worcestershire  he require bespoke sizes which were cut to his specified dimensions in a natural Brazilian Black slate 3cm thick . They will be going on top of a brick wall which has recently been constructed. The idea for using tis as a wall capping is to protect it from the elements and as slate is very hard wearing wanted it so that it will last for many many more years to come with no maintenance.   

The picture above is not actually their wall that is to come in but of the actual slate that we sent them with clean sawn edges.

Rustic looking reclaimed brick slips on way to Wantage in Oxfordshire the customer was looking for something to match in with his exciting brick work and found that our cottager range of wall cladding tiles was his best option,  as they are very  easy to use and  he could install them himself. cutting down on expensive labour costs.

Our bricks are sold by the box which will contain enough to cover half a square metre and as well as being used to create feature effect brick walls they are also a fantastic way or building a fireplace around a log burner. 

Hull in Yorkshire is seeing another slate hearth stone being delivered this time a square 900mm x 900mm x 30mm with bevelled edges and a smooth riven surface in a black Brazilian natural Stone.
Not only did the customer like the colour but felt that he did not want to do much maintenance with it once it had been placed in site and will only need a wipe over with a damp cloth from time to time. 
This particular fireplace is going to have a wood burner sat on top of it  and we feel sure that once it is installed it will show the fire off to its full glory.
