Bespoke cutting service for slate hearths for Wood Burners
Black Slate hearths are very often used for Wood Burners to go on, but no two fireplaces are the same size generally you will need one cut to size. We offer a bespoke slate cutting service with very realistic prices and can cut a large range of different shapes to suit your own requirements. All our hearths are cut from Brazilian smooth riven slate although we do also offer a Honed one (highly polished surface). option as well. We generally cut up to 1500mm in length but can on special requests cut up to 2000mm long hearths.

Why use Slate for a Hearthslate hearths have been used for centuries to have a round a fire place as it is hard wearing and its look never dates there are other options such as glass but over time these can look old fashion we think that when you lay a hearth it becomes part of fabric of the home and should be there as long as you want it to be and they require little or no maintenance.
